What you will be doing:
You will manage a variety of small and large projects. Based on your skill-set and knowledge, you'll assigned an appropriate level of responsibilities on projects.
Some potential projects may include:
  • Meeting with global teams to build project charters, schedule management, and ensuring clear communication across functions.
  • Evaluating other users of a hybrid agile/waterfall project management approach. What tools are being used? How well are they being implemented at scale? How can we apply their standard methodologies to our own business?
  • Develop Smartsheet training & standard work documentation for distribution throughout Operations. Brainstorm other potential future uses of the built documentation.
  • Benchmark our PMO against others, preferably external to Steelcase. Conduct a criteria gap analysis and develop plans to close the gap.
  • Conduct a research project for capturing data on various sized projects and the durations for each of these types of projects.
