We pursue innovation, strive for sustainability and develop insights in every part of our business.
Why people choose to work with us:
  • We are a small agile team that operates like an agency within the larger organization. Our mission is to achieve world-class communication support and tactics that are essential to Global Operations' achieving its highest goals for performance and culture.
  • As a global service provider, we work for many different customers globally; which makes every project we work on, different than the last. We are lifelong learners, believe strongly in teamwork and love to see others succeed. We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we work hard to deliver world-class value for every customer.

  • Evaluate project needs and recommend strategies, project frameworks, schedules, creative approaches and processes to meet project goals
  • Effectively manage schedules, meetings, budgets, internal and external resources while working within project parameters
In addition to leading your projects you may also have the opportunity to support the larger Operations Communications teams by:

  • You prefer and pursue relational interactions vs. transactional interactions and strike a perfect balance between the analytical side and the creative side of project execution.
  • Majors: Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Film & Video
  • Strong project management skills preferred
  • Diversity in communications experience preferred over a one-dimensional skill set
  • Sophomore or Junior preferred
Your Future Team:
Steelcase Global Operations is the buy stuff, make stuff, and ship stuff part of the company. Our role in Global Operations Communications is to tell the Operation story internally, across all departments and externally, to our dealers and customers. We know. It probably doesn't sound super creative. But it is… really. The fun part is the challenge of communicating information (that most assume is mundane) in a creative and thought-provoking way. We assure you, the work is anything but, mundane. We're constantly telling stories about how we make stuff, how we ship stuff and the systems we utilize to manage a deeply complex global manufacturing and shipping network. If you're up for the creative challenge, you may have just found your next home.
We are proud of our diverse and inclusive workforce, and we're always looking to get better. We value applicants who are comfortable interacting with people different than themselves. Women, people of any race or national origin, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people, veterans, working mothers and fathers, and everyone else are all invited to apply.
We seek to find the best person to fill this role and will not discriminate based on race, color, creed, genetic information, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic prohibited by law.
